I'm Vincenzo.
I’m a senior electronic engineer, I worked for the last six years as an electronic engineer and data scientist in the field of magnetic measurements for particle accelerators, taking care of the whole process from the development of the tools for the data acquisition to the post-processing and presentation of the results. This dual specialization enables me to deliver precise and reliable results.

Senior Fellow | CERN May 2022 - Present
I’m currently working at CERN on developing hardware and software solutions for real-time magnetic field measurements, and superconducting quench localization. My responsibilities are:
- To maintain and upgrade the firmware and the hardware of the real-time magnetic field measurement system used as feedback for the low level radio-frequency systems and power converters of the LHC injectors complex.
- To develop new sensors and AI based algorithms for superconducting quench detection and localization.
- To develop Python scripts to automatize electronic module testing.
- To develop analog and digital electronics for cryogenic applications.
- To develop a AI based solutions for the prediction of magnetic hysteresis.
- To supervise and mentor students and newcomers on the aforementioned activities.

My responsibilities were
To integrate third-party hardware and VHDL IP modules a FPGA-based real-time measurement system (B-Train) .
To develop machine learning based models for particle accelerator magnets.
To take care of version control and projects documentation using GitLab and Jira.
To take care of the system commissioning and maintenance assuring smooth and reliable, 24/7 operation of the B-Train.

I was responsible for:
- The development of a SoC-based White Rabbit monitoring tool using the HLS capabilities of LabVIEW FPGA.
- The development of VHDL logic to decode the White Rabbit frames received by the hardware module.
